EnVyUs have won DreamHack Open Atlanta after seeing off Heroic on three maps having a reverse sweep.
The very first map from the series was Overpass, Heroic's pick, in which the Danish team got over to a fast 5-0 lead upon the Terrorist side. EnVyUs then finally put their foot right all the way down to hold Heroic back, but Jakob JUGi Hansen clutched a 1v3 in subsequent round having a double AWP kill to reset the Frenchmen's economy.
After calling a tactical pause, EnVyUs turned in the CT aggression, which worked out to the confident people for a good length of time as Adil ScreaM Benrlitom continuously picked up multi-kills. Having a quad-kill from Patrick es3tag Hansen, the Danes went into half-time up by five rounds.
The next half began using the Danes retaking the B bombsite, with Nikolaj niko Kristensen getting three kills simultaneously. EnVyUs hit back immediately on the force buy because of a 1v2 clutch from Vincent Happy Schopenhauer, and that they went on to succeed five of subsequent seven rounds, bringing the deficit to 11-13. Heroic wouldn‘t let a comeback happen, however, as they simply won three rounds inside a row to lock through map.
Next up was Cobblestone, that was about EnVyUs' clean offence to begin with half. After losing the pistol round and also the subsequent anti-ecos, the French team came charging from the blocks, winning 11 rounds inside a row in convincing fashion before Heroic finally managed to bring a gun round.
The next half pistol and also the following anti-ecos would attend EnVyUs, putting Heroic upon the ropes. A quad-kill from es3tag to begin with gun round still gave Heroic fans some hope, but EnVyUs would soon regain control of the overall game to wrap things up with back-to-back rounds.
Inferno was the last map from the series, and it was eventually an entire bloodbath immediately. Heroic only managed to prevent the Frenchmen's executions ten rounds straight into the game, and that they were unable in order to make anything out of them as they simply lost leftover rounds from the half.
A near-flawless CT pistol then put EnVyUs on match point. Heroic would still take an additional round inside a desperate force buy, only to lose subsequent round against the poorly-equipped French players.
