Team Liquid has accepted your fourth invitation to ESL's last major from the Pro Circuit 2017-2018 Season — ESL One Birmingham.
Team Liquid is confirmed to become joining Evil Geniuses, Virtus. pro and Newbee at ESL One Birmingham as one among six teams directly invited to compete in the event.
Since disassembling the TI7 championship title, Team Liquid has shown no sign of slowing down or falling victim towards the TI curse of struggling in the listed season. Instead, the Europeans have clinched themselves four additional prestigious trophies and have not taken anything less when compared to a 3-4th place finish in any one of the events they‘ve took part in. Despite a powerful showing, they still have yet to bring an ESL One title.
Currently, the team is relaxing in second place upon the DPC rankings with 4734 points —a mere 24 points before Team Secret who assumes the 3rd place position. Besides their participation in DAC 2018 at this time, Team Liquid will head to EPICENTER XL at the conclusion from the month before going to Birmingham.
The 12 team tournament includes a prize pool of 1$ Million and 1500 Pro Circuit points and it is scheduled to start upon the 23rd of May.
